DEM Party announced that a 39-member foreign delegation who came to Turkey to meet with the imprisoned leader of the terrorist organization PKK, Abdullah Ocalan, has started their contacts at Imrali Prison.
The statement said, “Tomorrow (July 2), a roundtable meeting will be held, followed by a press conference at Taksim Hill Hotel at 12:00.”
The announcement reads:
“The 39-member foreign delegation who came to Turkey to meet with Abdullah Ocalan has started their contacts in Istanbul. The delegation, consisting of politicians, journalists, and activists from many countries, visited our Istanbul Provincial Organization.
Later, our Co-Chairman Tuncer Bakırhan met with the delegation members. During the meeting in Istanbul, information about the Peace and Democratic Society Process was provided, while regional and current developments were also discussed.
Tomorrow, the delegation will hold a roundtable meeting and then hold a press conference at Taksim Hill Hotel at 12:00.”
